Every fortnight, the digital team selects a handful of our absolute favourite recent additions. Here’s our latest product edit:

1. Medina stool, £99, Cult Furniture

Medina stool sage green

Inspired by the scalloped shapes of art deco design, and upholstered in luxurious sage velvet with a gold trim, the Medina footstool is a truly indulgent addition to a living room or bedroom.

The Medina comes in sage green (seen here) teal, coral, grey and blossom pink. We love this shade, which makes a great addition to a green-led colour scheme – sage is band on-trend right now – or as a pop of muted pastel colour on a more neutral background.

2. Drinks trolley, £445, Moda Furnishings

Moda drinks trolley

We might not be able to head to the pub or throw any lavish parties, but there’s no reason you can’t enjoy a drink and a nibble in your own garden – and Moda Furnishings have a grown-up take on the picnic basket to help you.

Their outdoor drinks trolley the perfect all-in-one unit to hold everything you need to enjoy an evening aperitif or a champagne lunch al fresco. This being the UK and not the Med, it’s made of hard-wearing rattan weave. Available in five colours (Black shown here).

3. Vintage Berber Kilim Rug, £1,665, Vinterior

Vinterior vintage kilim berber rug

Bring a touch of the bazaar to your home with a vintage tapestry rug. This one was hand-woven in Tunisia in the 1970s – proving that that decade’s love of brown and orange-red decor wasn’t limited to the West.

If you’re a vintage lover, you’ll know that authentic items can be difficult to come by, but Vinterior works with a trusted network of suppliers around the world to source genuine retro furniture and furnishings – so you know you’re getting a real taste of the souk.

4. Mediterranean Fig & Olive candle, £43, Von Norten

Von Norten candle Mediterranean Fig and Olive

Ethical candlemaker Von Norten has launched a new range of candles inspired by nature. The Black Collection – named for its matt-black recycled glass casing – comes in four scents.

We adored Mediterranean Fig & Olive, whose notes of aromatic olive and sweet fig transported us straight to a Greek island. The collection is rounded out with classic scents Vanilla, Sea Breeze and Oakwood and Cedar.

All ingredients in their products are sustainably sourced, vegan and cruelty-free – so you truly can lie back and relax.

5. Corinthian bathtub, from £1,575, Ashton & Bentley

Ashton & Bentley Corinthian bath Mint Macaroon
When it comes to creating a focal point in your bathroom, nothing beats a freestanding bath. Made from heat-retaining stone, Ashton & Bentley’s Corinthian design is a classic, featuring a traditional roll-top and claw feet.
If you’re so over white, the good news is that Ashton & Bentley offer a high quality paint finish with a palette of more than 300 shades to choose from. We adore Mint Macaroon, shown here, the perfect pastel complement for a nature-inspired bathroom scheme.

6. Kaira Quilt, £210, Chandan Whittle

Kaira quilt

If you’re looking to add a pop of colour to a neutral bed or sofa, look no further than the new Kaira quilt from Chandan Whittle.

We love the rich, vibrant hues of blue, yellow and purple shown above, but the double-sided design is also available in jade and hot pink.

Each quilt is screen-printed by hand in south India by a female-led cooperative providing sustainable employment for the local community. As the Kaira quilt is an artisan item and made in small batches, pre-order now for a June delivery.

7.  Engraved decorative clay tray, £45, Barker and Stonehouse

engraved decorative clay tray barker and stonehouse

New to Barker & Stonehouse, this engraved fibre clay tray is a real statement piece that would complement a decor scheme influenced by tribal designs or natural materials.

It’s intended to be displayed as a decorative objet d’art – but there’s no reason not to put it to use. For instance, this tray would make an excellent stand for a luscious array of fruit. Whatever use you have in mind, be aware that at 3.65kg it should be restricted to a stationary function!

8. Pastel Victorian tiles, from 52p per tile, Original Style

We’re all familiar with the Minton-style tile patterns synonymous with 19th century porches and hallways. Traditionally limited to a handful of colours like black, red and white, 21st century customers can now replicate these classic flooring designs in Carnation Pink, Hawthorn Yellow and Spring Green.
