With every new season we find a reason to love the latest prints and patterns. One trend that we've noticed, particularly coming through in the latest fabrics, linens and wallpapers, is the 'new' look for florals. It's a bolder and more confident than the cute and 'ditsy' style florals we're used to seeing on spring catwalks and interior trend predictions.

Reflecting the wintry mood outside while also adding a feminine touch, we're loving the hand-painted and watercolour style of the new-look florals. This artistic impression is brought to life in darker and sometimes unconventional colour combinations, rather than the pretty pastels, which will complement either modern or traditional schemes.

Whether on smooth and silky sateen fabrics or luxurious wallpapers, these prints can make a big statement or a add a subtle touch of pattern in your bedroom or living area.
