Our top tips for cosying up to enjoy the fireworks
It's Bonfire Night this weekend and that means one thing – gathering up friends and family and watching some fireworks! It's a great excuse to get everyone together and create a party atmosphere with tasty food, cosy blankets and fireworks lighting up the sky. Here's a few last-minute ideas to get you sorted for the weekend...
1. If you're outside in the garden doing your own fireworks or roasting marshmallows by a bonfire then a great way to set the scene is to hang some twinkly fairy lights. We love the look of this greenery overhead from Garden Trading.
2. Make sure that everyone has plenty of food to tuck into – it's the perfect time to dig out a couple of new recipes that you have been meaning to try. We love the Kuro ceramic serving plate, £28, and linen apron, £37, both from Also Home.
3. Create a cosy nook by the window to watch the fireworks from if you're staying indoors. These textures and embellished cushions from Graham & Green (from £30) are ideal for piling up or sitting on.
3. Nothing beats snuggling up in a super soft blanket or throw on a chilly evening. Whether you're enjoying your evening outside or you're choosing to stay inside, wrapping up is a must. The Islay throw, £180; Orme throw, £160 and Stamford throw, 386, are all from Neptune.
