The latest Pinterest 100 report has just landed, showing what we've all been searching for in the last 12 months, and what's going to be up next for 2017. It makes fascinating reading.


Not only have we learnt that more men than ever before are using the platform – up three times on last year – interiors-wise, we are being told that the colour blue is still huge (people searching for blue walls, floors and furniture is up 80%) and that the Scandinavian vibes for cosy candlelight and simple living – also known of course as hygge – is still trending massively. It is up 285% on this time last year.


People searching copper is up 90% and country living farmhouse style up 40%, while those looking for some fresh marble wallpaper in their lives will find that 303% more people searched for this very thing on Pinterest in the last year. Ideas on indoor climbing plants and greenery have seen a spike of over 200%.


The great outdoor and greenery generally are having a massive moment. Want to add style and garden flair to your apartment? Balcony gardens are up 118%. Feeling it for some green spaces and places? The scenery of Scotland and Iceland is up 60%. Summer camp party ideas are up 32%, woodland nursery design up 97% and kids fairy gardens up 97%.
