Set in a new extension, Tom and Fiona Sargeant’s ingenious kitchen has been designed to be both family friendly and fun for the grown-ups too
The kitchen was designed as part of a new extension by Chris Eaton of Stiff + Trevillion Architects. The units are custom-made from solid wood by Nicklin Furniture in Newcastle and painted in Panel from Paint Library. The drawer fronts are made of opaque glass while Crittall doors lead to the larder. The worktops are a mix of Carrara marble with Belgian Blue, both from the Stone Collection, for the island contrasted with oak, to define the large space. The built-in appliances include a Miele steam combi oven and warming drawer.
