We round-up our design picks of the moment
We've picked out five highlights of designs and ideas we're loving this week
Above Loaf has released new Chuckler kitchen chairs. Not quite black, they take their inspiration from early settler designs, with the classic hoop-back chairs handmade from solid birch in a mottled-black hand-painted finish. The comfy, natural linen seat pad features hand-ties for a nicely considered detail, and quite frankly, look seriously good whether mixed up with other natural, neutral chairs, or by themselves with a rustic or contemporary table. Price: £225 for a pair, Loaf
New season lighting from Nordic House
Nordic House has released a lovely new lighting collection, giving you the perfect way of illuminating your home as the days grow shorter and the nights draw in. With a sophisticated palette of matte black, silver and brass, the collection also includes ingenious retro table lights which are wall-mountable, making them ideal for a spot of night-time reading. This elegant Black Floor Lamp is available for £175.
Capsule collection launched to mark Breast Cancer Awareness month
Little Greene will be launching a capsule collection of pink colours, to celebrate their long-standing support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. The collection comprises eight related pink shades, providing soft delicate tones associated with sensitivity to bolder and seductive tones. The versatile shades will include seven new colours and have been designed to work harmoniously alongside other shades. And 15p from every can of paint and roll of wallpaper that is sold will be donated to a Breast Cancer Charity too. You can see the collection here.
Lexington Company has released its first collection of wallpaper, offering a choice of standout motifs such as florals, stripes and maps, all of which are inspired by the American East Coast lifestyle. We particularly like the Emily wallpaper for Borastapeter, available for £85 per 10m roll.
