Those of you who are fans of tasteful greys and muted colours should look away now. We've been seeing fresh lively patterns, bright colours and worldy accessories coming to the fore in a new look that’s being dubbed ‘modern global', ‘traveller’ or ‘global’ style. 'The Modern Global trend is inspired by tribal folk and developed with a modern stylish edge,' says Jane Rockett of Rockett St George, a brand that has used travel as their main source of style inspiration this season. 'Faux cactus and succulent plants explore the desert vibe, along with ethnic artefact style ornaments such as dreamcatchers, hand-painted tiles and bottles,' she says.
