Period features, contemporary fixtures and a combination of raw materials with an industrial edge give this country kitchen a perfectly timeless feel
The outside views were a key starting point for the couple when they were choosing how to turn the former garage into their kitchen. The large windows and glass doors on either side of the room accentuate the light and the rural scenery. A juxtaposition of raw materials complements the period features of the building, marrying the new with the old. Exposed brickwork, polished concrete, limed timber, reclaimed oak and Carrera marble all work in harmony together to create a balanced, warm, contemporary family space.
